This was my 10th trip to Berlin. Each time I try to find a different aspect. A respite break from my caring responsibilities back home perhaps put me in a somewhat thoughtful mood, reflected I think in the photographs that I took, which are on the quiet side.

Much of my time was spent in areas I had not visited before. I was particularly drawn to the Hansaviertal area, the site of a post war housing development following the devastation befalling Berlin in 1945.

All photographs were taken on a Nikon F3 and 28mm lens on Ilford HP5 film, developed in D23.
